E32 740i engine in an E30 318i?

So a friend has an e32 740i Auto and is swapping engines-to the 850 csi V12-next summer. I go, "I wonder if your old engine will fit in my car." She goes, "When I do the swap, it's yours." SO does it fit? And just how much work is it to do it?

prolly need custom motormounts but that will be a very tight squeeze if it will even go in which i doubt. and thats just one concern of about 50

exhaust manifold clearing the steering rack... valve cover hitting your master cylinder... akgmotorsport.com put a 4.4L in an E30... massive amounts of work. I have a whole bunch of emails lying around from him detailing the work cos I was going to buy the car from him until my wife interveened... Its difficult to say the least.
