    alpina z8 spotted, dialup beware

not e30 relevant, but I thought I'd share. I went to vermont last weekend for a wedding and when I parked in the portland (oregon) airport garage I pulled up next to a z8. I've only seen 3 z8's before, but I thought the wheels were special, upon closer inspection it's one of the 450 alpina edition z8's out there, oregon plates and all. Took a picture, was somewhat worried someone would give me a hard time for snapping a pic of their car, so it's not my best picture ever. Pretty slick ride, no comment on the vanilla tree.

    Pretty cars, with ugly wheels.
    Too bad it's an Alpina.

Great looking car, sick interior, but not as fun as the normal Z8 because of the motor + tranny. I actually worked on a couple of them this past summer. Our dealership seems to work on all the Z8s in the area, I would guess at least 3 per week.

Looks a lot like the one that was at the dealership in Beaverton a little while ago.

There is a guy up on the hill about .5 mile away that owns a Z8 and a m5. Seen the guy all time, nice man always waves to my dad( when my dad's driving his ///Mroadster).
