Merry Christmas...WHY IS MY E30 DEAD?!?

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their day so far. My misery started last night on the way to dinner went it died and failed to restart after going through a foot deep pothole. The idle had always been weird since I bought it, hitting rough patches that make the car shake a little. CEL will come on and shut off if you hit the accelerator. The car actually died twice before but restarted. Ive already done the basics to try and remedy it including changing spark plugs,(wires were fine) cap and rotor, fuel filter, air flow meter, cleaned the ICV, and checked for vacuum leaks. Now after last nights pothole the car WILL NOT RESTART! WTF!!! Anyone have any clue what this could be?? Or does anyone have the name of a trusted, fair priced e30 mechanic in San Francisco? Thanks..

No. Im sorry, I should have added that my car just keeps turning and turning. Thats it. And I did have the diagnostic machine run on it and the air flow meter was the only code that faulted several times.

Check and see if the chassis grounds are tight.

I will check. Do you think this would have been the cause of the previous idle problem too? Or that the fuel pump is done?

Check the main relays towards the front of the driver side in front of fuse box under plastic cover. Mine have wiggled out before.

It's just your E30 letting you know it loves you on Christmas.
