took my 86 325es to 123mph on highway 5. took a year to get it going that fast. my vert has only gone to 100mph once.

Saw an indicated 125 (with a 4.10!) but the speedos on E30s are all insanely optimistic so it was probably 10-12% less than that.

I really doubt any stock E30 is hitting 140mph. Probably just over 130. With a chip I could see it, maybe.

Top speed for the US spec e30 m3 was 146mph.

I feel like people sometimes forget about us M3 owners here on r3v...

i'd say about 15mph. the starter blew at the top of a hill and we had to push it down so i could pop the clutch to start it. sorta cheating i guess.

hhaaha u guys are cracking me up. i ment pushed becuase in most cases when you do a top speed running you pushing something to its limits, whether its you motor the courage its always something lol ill be more specific next time atleast im getting some good laughs and some good input =)

i got a pushing story, when had my X5, i got stuck trying to turn around in a hard packed snowy driveway, friends got out and while i keep the tires spinning, they pushed on the side to turn it to face the direction we needed to go. somehow it actually worked.
