news flash, guten service cures high idle woes

after strugling with high idle for the better part of 9 months. starting several threads on 3 different forums. gathering a wealth of knowledge from dozens of bmw enthusiasts but everything i tried, failed. carb cleaner and smoke test for leaks, swapped out icv, tb w/ tps, fpr, maf, new elbow boat and breather hose and still high. well after visiting levant and his staff today ( 300 miles round trip ) i'm oh so f..king happy, esstatic even to say my e30 is happily puring at a steady 750 rpm's.
the problem was a combination of several diferent things. all the parts i installed where used but known working ( beware of that statement ) we cleaned up and installed a icv l had there, adjusted my tps, as well as the maf. a caution goes out for adjusting the maf, only should be done by a pro, you don't wana mess with that if you don't know what you're doing, or so i have bin told.
we also through her up in the air and went over the car w/ a fine tooth comb so i know where i stand as far as future projects go. she really is in pretty good shape for 26 years of age and 320,000 on the clock.
well, enough rambleing on. just wanted to give job well done to l and his shop. here is a few pics from today.

That's a huge shop! Congrats on getting the gremlins worked out. I have a tps or maf issue happening with my car that I hope Castro's can fix for me.
