No pics, he didn't see the car in person or drive it, so a random number is the best you can get.

I know its an eta and they aren't as sought after, but if I can get the car for a solid price I would buy it.

Yes there are no photos, but the thing literally just popped up next to my e30, at my apartment complex. He just so happened to be selling it for 1800. I was thinking more of 1200-1400 based on the mechanical issues it has.

If worst came to worst I can always part it out and break even or make a bit of cash.

                  1200 sounds reasonable

How do you plan on parting a car out while living in an apartment complex?
You won't be making money from your endeavor regardless so put that thought out of your head before you get yourself into trouble.

My living situation wasn't in question here. I do own a house in another city, I'm just here for work. (if that makes you feel better ;) ) Also my ducks are in row finically, the only problem is the wife :)

yes, your living situation is in question because parting out a car takes a lot of space but anyway have fun nothing more for me to add

You'll lose money on an ETA at anything more than a grand in. Zero doubt.
They're not "Not as sought after"
They're flat out NOT sought after.
