    UUC Back order 2 months??

I saw another members post and thought i should start my own. Ive been waiting on saw bars from UUC for over 2 months now. Been calling them every 2 weeks. Supposedly they were in production and in powder coat for the last 2 weeks. I even told them that their site will still let me order a set even tho they have been out of stock for so long. Asked for some extra benifets like a shift knob from another promo and no luck. Just a key chain like every order. I call BS. I told them yesterday that if I don't get an email by monday that I will cancel my order even after being assured that I would get an email today. No email

I've waited 5+ months for "drop shipped" parts from them. Never again, just not worth the hassle...

Guys, sorry for the delay. We've been absolutely SLAMMED the last quarter of 2011 and also this holiday season, demand for our parts has been through the roof both in USA and Europe.

If Levent has bars in stock, please do get them from him directly. Don't forget to call us to cancel out that order so you don't get double-shipped... and when you call, ask for me, I'll do a little something for you to make up for the delay.

          Happy 2012!

If they were 3rd-party items that were backordered from the manufacturer, there's really nothing we can do about that. With the very few items that we supply which we do not make ourselves, that can occasionally be a problem - but I wouldn't think something you can blame us for.

With all due respect, a relatively rare backorder on a part is not "bad business".

UUC has been a primary performance parts manufacturer in the BMW aftermarket since 1998. Our product is sold in great volume by the major BMW parts suppliers in the USA and overseas. Practically every reputable online vendor, catalog, and distribution house carries UUC.

Keeping up with demand has been a constant problem. We have taken many steps through the years to increase our production capacity and have done a pretty good job of almost eliminating backorders across the board. The rare exception is an order delay of more than a couple of days.

Our products speak for themselves; widely tested and acclaimed to be the best, UUC has supplied BMW NA official racecars and professional racing teams through the years.

So to say "runs a terrible business" is just more of the inappropriate message board chatter that is, in essence, meaningless.

We do appreciate the business of our reasonable and quality-minded clientèle and strive to improve your customer experience every day.

If you ever do have a problem with our service, delivery, or products, please feel free to call us directly. You will find that everyone at UUC will bend over backwards to satisfy you!

                        This.

I don't know how they think its acceptable to have car parts have months and months worth of lead time.

I'm not aware of any "months and months" of lead time on any UUC parts for E30 in the past few years. We've had a slight delay on E30 swaybars (as started this thread), but that's it.

Again, if you're talking about a 3rd-party item, such as wheels from a wheel manufacturer that we obviously don't control, I think we can all realize that has nothing to do with UUC.

Rob I waited for 4 months on backorder for e30 sway bars earlier this year.
I canned the order and went with a different supplier.

I've had long lead times on plenty of e36 parts also.

I am also taking about UUC branded products.
