I'm currently contemplating this built turbo charged mx5. Only problem is the distance between us.

Drive one? Probably. Trade my e30? Not a chance in hell.

I'm 6'2" and 200 lbs. for me, it's a deathtrap. Plus, I'm not a chick. So, that would be a "no" for me.

On a more serious note, I find the E30 to be the perfect all-around, street and track, HPDE toy. It handles well, makes decent power, is cheap to run, and reliable. Even with a roll-bar installed, it has tons of room in the trunk and backseat area to fit a full set of race tires, all my track tools, helmets, and personal gear for two. No need for tire trailers, roof racks, or any of that stuff. Just load it up and drive. Perfect car to jump in with your girlfriend for a weekend on the track.

Maybe a rusty eta but not a one from my normal stable. Then again E36's are beginning to become the DD's here.

E30 has more character than Miata, so, nope.

No thanks. The e30 is perfect. That is all.

+1. But I have always liked the 10th anniversary edition.

                            absolutely not.

As far as I can tell, I am still a straight man.

Maybee if mine was an auto 4dr with rust...but even though my car is sitting my backyard with no clutch, I still wouldn't trade. As one of my co-workers put it "(insert other car) would get you absolutely no respect on the road."
