I think he means the radiator. I don't know M20's but isnt that overflow suposed to be on the other side.

Edit: Maybe it's an M20B20? The intake manifold doesn't look like it though. So confused.

That is an ICV, it is an eta. other models have a different icv and in a different location.

What about the go pedal cable seems to be going the long way around the engine bay.

yep icv. mines on the driver side with the connector pointing to the front of the car.
