    Looking to buy question

Hey guys, I've been searching for an e30 lately. I'm just wonder how many of you are picking them up with a clean title? I've found quite a few (usually right after or during the sale) that have clean titles, and found a bunch more that have salvage titles.

    I'm just wanting some opinions.

I've bought almost 30 of them and I think only 3 had a salvage title.

          Clean titles.

Buying a salvage title is like trying to make a prostitute your wife. You'll never love it the same way.

It's up to you though, I mean the smallest thing can salvage these cars when they're KBB is <3k. But I still don't like the negative connotation associated with them. And the resale is killed too.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about.

So frustrating! There are no e30's in arizona. (for sale at least) so I'm having to look in california. Either people: A. dont call back, B. Sell while typing the damn craigslist ad or C. Just completely ignore me.

I'm not too worried about resale. Supposively its from a theft recovery. I don't care too much as long as there's no damage to the frame (unibody) of the car. I'm going to dig a bit more. See what I can find.

My e30 shell is a salvage title. It had a deer hit it. Broke the right headlight, grille, and dented the fender, that is all. Only cosmetic damage.

              Insurance, BAM! Totaled.

My 1984 eta shell has a red passenger front quarter welded in and the front valence was all busted to hell.

              Clean title.

Salvage title can mean the littlest thing.

(These are both parts cars due to a) trans slipping and needed driveline parts for a friend's project and b) rust and the car being an early eta.)
