Would you sacrifice an E34 M5 for an S38 powered E30?

Let's say you have an E34 M5. The engine and transmission are in great shape. However, the paint and interior need work. It's a running and driving car. I expect it would take another $3,000 or so to get the interior and exterior up to my standard. The engine has been taken care of it's entire life.

Would you rather part the car and use it's drivetrain to build an S38 powered E30, or keep it intact as an E34 M5?

After building an M50 powered E30, I have fallen in love with the E30's simplicity and no-frills driving experience. I feel the S38 would be a lot more fun in a 1000lb lighter chassis with a steering rack. Not a sloppy box.

    What would you do?

          M5.

If it's totalled, then obviously yes. If it just needs TLC, don't be a dick.

If the e30 is perfect than swap it. Its not worth spending 3k to fix up a car you dont like when you could have a s38 e30 that you would enjoy more.

E34 is fucking ugly as shit, pull that amazing motor and sell the parts off to fund.

Don't kill the M5. It would probably be smarter financially to sell the M5 and just buy an S38.

keep E34, no reason to ruin a good car. and they are pretty limited from what I have read.
