I officially recommend fiberglass reinforced tape... I just finished boxing mine up 48 hours ago with foam from a friend's shipment and lots of cardboard scraps jammed in there. Double/triple thick cardboard on the bottom of box. Use the tape to hold box shut and to help add support. Cost: 5 bucks in tape, free cardboard.Leave a comment:

I used the right size cardboard box, preferably the thick kind. No problems. Used to pay around $50-70 via upsLeave a comment:

I built a box out of 2x4s and sent it like that, shipping is spot on about 84 from coast to coast.
REMEMBER ALL fluids have to be drained and if there is any seepage you will be charged a hazard fee. Best bet is to drain and stuff with rags, then plastic bag it and tape sealed. That is what I did for the three I sent.Last edited by F34R; 02-03-2012, 01:41 PM.Leave a comment:

Put it in a box and write your name clearly so the nice UPS man can deliver it for a nominal fee.Leave a comment:

Best way to ship a diff? Empty the fluid and slap a shipping label on it. BAM!Leave a comment:

An old Rubbermaid container. Use old blankets and towels to pad it. Expanding foam works well too. With the lid on, drill like 20 holes through the lip of the lid and container and use some heavy duty zip ties. Expect $75 coast to coast.Leave a comment:
