    Soo? Finally started some work on the rocker replacement. Here are some pics:













    Uhm aren't those lines supposed to be lined up? The came gear and head are lined up and this is how the crank looks. Timing belt was done at 82k..

        When I did mine, they where right on. I found that turning (at the crank) in the running direction made the lines line up.

          But those lines are supposed to line up and so are the ones at the cam right?

            Alright so I got everything together, with he new parts; water pumps, rocker shaft, rockers, timing belt, thermostat, plugs and it won't start!! Any ideas first thing I should check out besides fuel etc?? Help guys I need this thing on the road

                First find out if you have fuel

                Then find out if you have spark

                Whichever one is not working, trace it from the exit point to the point of origination

                Fuel, does it come out of the injectors, if not, rail, FPR, Lines, Pump

                Spark, use a spark plug and arc it to the valve cover, if it sparks, then its fuel or timing.

                Also post or info whether it studders or just constantly cranks.

                It would be hard to diagnose my health if all I told you is that I'm laying down and cant get up

                  Fuel is coming to the rail, I'll have to pull each injector out to see if fuel is coming. Spark is there.just constantly turns over. Once in a blue moon a sputter
