I'm the ONLY one who suggested the SAAB? shit, you guys really arent' creative at all.

Fantastic reliability and reviews to back 'em up

Read 1996 SAAB 9000 reviews from real owners. Find out what they're like to drive, and what problems they have.
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Hey race2win, what is it and what year, very nice man. Wow, i was just looking at 0-60 times on cars and the audi1.8t gets 8.0 sec. i looked up a friends car, 2011 rav4 awd 4 door and its like 6.3, shit i guess if you want speed go for a little SUV, kinda threw me for a loop. Also, does audi use timing chains or belts in the B5 A4? I really like the idea of chains, belts freak me out for some reason. I am really leaning towards maybe 99/2000 A4, such a sweet car, I also have seen a couple nice sentra SER specv, only thing i dont like is i had a run of the mill sentra and wow that thing rusted out like crap.

That was my long-gone Mitsubishi Galant VR-4, basically the original EVO. They were limited editions only made in 91-92, 3000 total imported. Basically the same drive-train from the 1st Gen Eclipse/Talon, 4G63 turbo 2.0 4-cyl, AWD, ABS, & 4WS. Great cars, pretty easy to work on, cheap parts, & you can make TONS of power, but they are very hard to find at all, let alone in nice shape, & they aren't the prettiest 4-door sedan. Mine was set up for autocross & track days...320 AWHP on a basically stock motor, fully adjustable suspension, & Hoosier A6s

I'm no A4 expert, but I'm pretty sure they are timing chains. I had one many years ago & the tensioner failed...basically took out the valves, all 20 of them So make sure that is all up-to-date if you are looking at one. Yes, many modern SUVs have a lot of power & are quick in a straight line...heck I think my Wife's 5000+ lb GMC Acadia AWD goes 0-60 quicker than a lot of sports cars from the 90's, but see what happens after the first corner ;)

You are correct sir, half asleep when posted, the 98+ V6 is the motor I wanted to recomend, I've had a few friends with the 1.8T (one A4Q, a couple golfs) seems to be an unreliable turbo. 96-01 2.5RS is a good suggestion. Maybe even a Forester, kind of an off beat choice, lots of potential. http://omgpancakes.files.wordpress.c...4dfca6e9_b.jpg
