Your mother must be proud. If I had known there would be issues with copywriters, it would have not been posted. Although I appreciate it being brought to my attention, the manner in which you handled the situation was wrong. It could have been settled privately. Grow up troll.
OP, good effort in the apparel. It's a hard market to break into, especially with a t shirt company starting off. There is a lot of competition out there and the market is very saturated due to the ease of entry for almost anyone with $100. That isn't to say what you did is worthless, you learned a lesson.
My advice is to find a niche market if t-shirts and apparel is what you really want. Once you’ve found that niche, design a few shirts (don't print them) and do some testing. Don't ask friends or family, they will lie through their teeth to make your business a success. Ask strangers, r3v, the interwbs. If all you get is negative feedback either go back to the drawing board or start something else.
And make something unique about your business. I crochet hats and had a sig with my companies sale for the past few weeks. The fact that I sell hats is nothing special; the fact that I (a man) crochet them and they are made to order is what gives my company an edge.
