    car looks nice and aren't e28 m5's even more scarce than e30 m3's?

        Happened over here in SoCal, about the same price and the engine needed a rebuild. If we've got tons of S14 rebuilders, why not an S38?

          It is apparent that you probably don't know much about the e28 m5... are you aware of what a complete, proper rebuild of an s38 will cost? And the fact that you say it doesn't look like it has rust from the photo is hilarious. How in the fuck can you say anything either way about the condition of the body from the pictures in the ad?

          It's a cheap price for the car and it has relatively low miles. But, delta was right on when he said to be very weary of m5's at this price point. It is highly likely that the engine needs or will very soon -- a rebuild... and I'm sure the body/interior/suspension aren't in great condition -- especially since 1) it has been sitting so long and 2) it hasn't sold at that price.

            you're 100% correct suspension is shot. body has rust holes. interior is cracked and faded. it did start after a battery change. i feel mileage is correct. because of the title it would only be for parts here in ny. i wouldnt buy it.
