How to remove street paint from wheel well?

Hey peoples...

How do you get the paint that they use to make the street lines out of (yellow in this case) out of your wheel well without stripping paint? My brother in law's 1970 Chevelle had this unfortunate mishap and while a good amount of it got on the rubber wheel well part, some of it got on the paint. Its a fucking mess to put it kindly and it is hard as nuts now. Anyone know how to get that shit off without stripping his show-car-winning paint job?

try 3m general purpose adhesive cleaner. also, depending on how thick it is, you might be able to get it out with a clay bar.
