    Whats it worth?

    1990 325x.

Has the engine but talking with the owner it needs extensive work. Also she is unsure it as an IX but she sent me a picture of the title and the "model" is listed as a 25x and the rear of the car says 325x.

I have been looking for an IX project car for a while but I am not really sure of their value.

    Thanks

Its an Ix. Also has a horrible Maaco dipped in paint style repaint.
    I say its worth $500 tops as a non-runner.

good catch on the paint, I didn't even notice the "black" trim is now red.

I should add I would also be driving 3hrs to trailer it home. $500 is close to the $600 I was thinking.

I have experience building 325i,e's but this would be the first ix

Yeah, and you'll find that a few of the parts (engine block, transmission) are iX specific and so significantly more expensive.

Did they even paint the door handles!

Yea, I knew about the specific parts and the drivetrain being expensive to replace... I just didn't know how much one was worth given they are kind of hard find. Either way, she just sent me a text saying it sold. Thanks for the responses....hopefully it went to a good home and someone who will bring it back to life...correctly.

They're not hard to find. At best they're hard to find locally. They pop up ALL the time on here, E30tech, C-list, and ebay.
