                                                So I just did my verts VIN, and it shows an accident that I did not claim. In fact the car has been under the knife on jack stands since last year. What do I do about this?


                                                Edit: The claim specifies "collision with animal."

                                                    Try to contact CarFax and file a complaint with them. Most of the reports are from CarFax.

                                                        could it somehow be some shady stuff the previous owner is trying to pull? He wasn't the most upright guy. I titled the car under my name the same day I bought it, so it is slightly confusing.
