I think he might of this time. I really hope so. He was a really cool kid to hang out with until he started partying all the time. I should mention he's only 20.

He's Bipolar, and on a lot of Meds I heard.

I got really shitfaced last Friday night and even being drunk, I didn't think to even drive. My woman wasn't too happy to pick me up, but it was better than risking a DUI or even a deadly collision. I will be the first to admit I have driven while intoxicated. I'm not perfect, I've made my share of stupid mistakes, but it is not worth the trouble and costs.

I have a friend that is 25 and just got his SECOND DUI. Some people just don't learn from their mistakes.

I'm still mad at you about your fake casual encounter, but this was a very wise post. I do the same thing lol. $14 + tip for a taxi to get home, or spending the night in jail, car impounded, lawyer fees, broken IS lip because the tow guy doesn't give a fuck, tow/impound fees, probation, AA classes, license suspension, loss wages for work, bail money, insurance increase, etc. etc. There's a million reasons not to drink and drive, and those are only a few.

Edit: Oh yeah, and death. Forgot that one

Seriously. And when I quoted "friend" I really meant old high school classmate. Definitely not someone I associate myself with, or consider my friend lol.

Lucky Guy, Luck will not last forever. I am one of those morons with 4 DUIs Now 10 years later, I look back and thank GOD that I never took anyones life on my stupid conquest. I do Remember Sitting in jail for a year of my life listening to all the new guys talking about the idiotic stories that got them in the can. Damn How pathetic is it to be a dumb ass that got himself in with all the wife beaters and rapist for drinking some beer and driving home. POS Yes that is it.He is a lucky guy to not have someones mother wishing him death for killing her child in the pursuit of a buz. You would be a good friend to talk to him. Something is the matter. It cannot hurt the situation. His next step is the guy I met in jail, He had the highest bail of anyone I met. Vehicular Homicide. His bail was higher than the guy that beat his wife. POS Only god could have pity on that MF.

You guys really consider that a win for the e34? Newer cars would intrude in the passenger compartment soooo much less. They were tops for safety in the 80s....not so much now.

It's not this guy's luck running out that I worry about. It's the people on the road with him at the wrong time...

Any Honda/Toyota/VW shitbox from that era probably would of been toast. I think its pretty impressive.

Pretty good results from something engineered and built in the 80's. However, Had he been in an E30, more than likely it would have been much worse...
