Good for you, it is an iX so I would just part it out.

P.S. this is not a chat room, so try and contain your responses to one post. Makes less shit to scroll through.

That's a really good price for an iX. iX e30s are relatively rare. Restore it.

Finally some words of encouragement lol thanks. I wanna lower it on some nice wheels. Anyone have any advice on perfect wheel size/tire size/offset for a absolute flush fitment when lowered? Stretched lip a little. First IX I know things are a little diff when going for a stances flush look

Hard to tell what shape it's in form the pictures. Body looks to be pretty straight and rust free. If so, after a good wash, it would easily go for 3K over here in Seattle even with those miles. I've seen rust bucket IXs go for 2500 over here.

IX's are the only E30 I probably wouldn't lower. They are meant to sit a bit higher. Function over form :)

Don't slam it like some idiot forum fanboy. Its an iX make it stock, sell it for profit and by an 84 318i that you can 'slam'

I'd buy a running, driving iX w decent body for $750.

Who knows how much it will cost to get it in good condition, but you might get lucky and have good driveline/engine, etc. Could def clean the car up, put in $300 of basic maintenance and assuming there's no serious problems sell it for $2.5k at least..

I would say 3k(depending on the location) if it's running perfectly with no rust/good paint. ix coupe seems pretty rare..BTW these days in Canada everyone wants clean e30 where there's nothing on the market.

Good paint, no rust, one owner, California car. I'll have to see exactly when I get it home tomorrow and wash it

The flares give you no more room for wheel and tire. They actually give you less.

ix manual coupes are really rare indeed. especially without rust. that is the fancy version with sport seats. cardinal would have been nice but dove is pretty good. delphin or lachsilber paint? the price you paid is a steal. i would buy 10 of this car at the price you paid even if the xfer cases were bad in every one. assuming it is rust free, it is worth 2k even with a bad transfer case. easily 3k if the all the driveline is in order. i would seriously doubt it is though. check the front axles, front diff(probably ok since you said its drivable) and of course the transfer case. if the car was towed with a standard wrecker, the viscous coupling is guaranteed to be screwed. if it is indeed a one owner car, that could mean that maintenance has been kept up.

if you part this car, i am going fly out to sacramento and kick you square in the nuts. either put some money in and fix what it needs so you can drive it or make a few bucks and sell it whole to a forum member who will appreciate it and give it the love it needs.

good luck with it. don't be a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles by parting it or letting it sit out in the weeds.
