Car Broken Into...

Went to move the car this morning and noticed my door was partially open and glove box was open. They took my clarion head unit and two big performance teknique amps. I'm keeping my eyes on craigslist. If everyone in the san antonio area could do the same i'd appreciate it.

I'm pissed and am not looking forward to rewiring the dash and car. They cut/tore everything out. Couldn't get the sub though... they tried but it was bolted into the rear firewall. I know it was some rat bastard kids out on spring break... doubt I'll find them.

I would be out for blood. You sure it wasn't someone that you knew? The two break ins I've had were from people that I knew or they knew what I had.

Don't you hate it that you cant just leave your car unlocked? You always have to lock everything, its kinda crazy.

But happened to me awhile ago. They couldnt figure out how to get the head unit out, so they just broke it...

same thing happend to me last month, they ripped out my whole hvac. and broke my passenger window. Sucks man. Youll fix it though.

A while back someone broke into my friend's truck, tried to steal his head unit, but I guess couldn't figure it out and ripped out half the dash.

A few weeks later they tried to steal the whole car and ended up destroying the steering column and a bunch of shit.

I was certain who did it (a "friend" of his).... It's just bullshit, get a life and work.

I always have a fear of this happening. I don't care about the insurance to get the stuff back, I'm just concerned about having to re-do everything like the OP said.

yeah pretty gay, why are people stealing a cd player, you can get a dope one now for like $100 bucks who the fuck is buying stolen shit all fucked up. Car madmaddy bought had the whole HVAC panel blasted because of some douche bag ripping the stereo out. I just left all my cars with a cassette player. Don't need retards smashing my M3 for a CD player.

Just reading this thread gets me worried as well, someone is already stalking me in my neighborhood and its obvious because who the hell parks their car in the middle of the street to look at me, luckily i shut my garage but seems i could be next as where i live is not safe, house got broken into already(police didnt do anything about it) and i dont want my e30 to be next

If your worried about them stealing your car, just take out the starter or fuel pump relay every night.

I got a start kill from the Viper alarm and a club that attaches to my clutch pedal and steering wheel whenever shes out for the night in the driveway, but ill just pop out the relay to be safe, thanks

will do, next time i see it ill get it down all i know its a Nissan Titan with a minor lift kit couldnt see plates at night, i just hope this time kern county would actually DO something instead of being lazy asses if it ever happens(God forbid)
