Anybody wanna kill their PO?

Generally, my PO was a 50-something retired marine, original owner. The car was in baby-bottom condition, just the shell needs some refreshing. I've taken most of the motor apart as well as the interior, and everything is immaculate. Only thing I can complain about is him cutting my ABS wires.. Not even sure how to go about fixing that problem though TBH.. -
Sometimes it's actually good to buy a car from a college girl, her dad paid for everything to get done at the dealer :)Leave a comment:

Not a rant but since I already said I didn't check it out as much as I should of you would be right. The guy told me what he had done only to find he didn't. I already said o well I just thought it would be I retesting to hear everyone else's story. Not to mention the main theme being stupid things the previous owner did to the car.

I hate people bitching about finding shit on a used old car they bought. Next time look at the fucking car before you buy it. Some people get so hawt and bothered when looking at cars and just say YES!!!! I'll take it!!!Leave a comment:

The only reason I hate my PO is for purchasing Borbet H's and scraping the weavesLeave a comment:

Had that... I can't complain too much, a lot of stupid things but nothing serious... yet.
My windshield has a bunch of dings/chips/wiper scrape. I asked the PO "y u no replace bro?" he replied "that's the original glass". I stopped asking about much after that for fear of more annoying illogical answers.
I bought my car with a cluster that didn't work since the PO also said that he was having another one serviced somewhere. Told me the mileage was 170k. Got the "fixed" finally after begging for it weeks after the sale (it wasn't even fixed) and the mileage said 170xxx.
The only problem was it's for an I...not ES, therefore I have no clue what my mileage is so when I bought a new cluster of someone here with 230xxx on it, I just say "yea, that's probably more like the true mileage". ha.Leave a comment:

just my iX's...
undercarriage caked in mud, 5 likely bent rims, stereo's installed with electrical tape, ripped out premium audio amp and speakers in favor of sony xplod shit, undealt with exposed metal that'll probably start rusting next winter, the entire front end needs all new bushings and links... etc etc
and he used it for off-roading in his backyard in this condition... I'm surprised the VC hasn't siezed hahaLeave a comment:

Great experience with all my E30's.
My track car project was bought from a friend. It's completely stripped out, basically a clean rust free rolling shell. Knew exactly what I was buying.
My first daily was bought from some P plate douche that blew the diff up. Everything else was wonderful though. New suspension(stock spec but still new), well maintained engine. No problemo. Sold it to an E30 enthusiast and added him on FB. I'll help him out if something goes wrong with it.
My current 323i has been the worst but can't blame any of it on the previous owner. Worst thing he did was a put a sub in there and not secure it properly so it flew around the boot(trunk) a bit when driving the hills, or drifting. The TOB bearing died and it overheats a little but that's not the previous owner's fault. The FCAB's were completely shot but he probably didn't even realize since it was a daily driver through the city, reaching top speeds of probably 50-60km/h.Leave a comment:
