Saw a Carrera GT last night

I was taking my wife to the doctor and saw it coming up the road towards me and thought there is no way that is a GT. Then it got closer and I was saying "Holy Sh*&!" and my wife was freaking out saying "WHAT?? WHAT??" I just pointed and went speechless. I did manage to roll the window down as it went by to hear it. she said "Wow, that sounded good" I was like, you think??

I've never seen one in person and have no clue what it was doing down here. If anyone knows Rosenberg, TX it's like the barrio of Houston, no clue why he was here. If I wasn't on the way to the doc I would have chased him down and snapped some pics.

How many of these things were made anyway??

My dad saw one in Southern Cali when he was there for work a while back. He said he was just driving along in his rental car and he looked over and relized he was driving next to his dream car.

I'm not sure how many they made. With a price tag like they have there couldn't be too many.

No kidding, they are what $440k? This was such a strange place to see it too, there aren't even BMW's in Rosenberg, everyone thinks I'm rich because I have 3 in my driveway.

The MSRP is $440k, but it's like buying any expensive car, people pay thousands and thousands higher to actually get it.

I figured this thread needed a picture cause they are HOT!

EDIT - correct info and add picture

Ya but you're in Florida where 70% of the supercars are titled.

I've seen both in person and they are both beautiful. I don't have pics though :( I do live near Forign Cars of Italia though so I can go anytime to get my fill of f40, f50, carrera gt's and tons of other crazy cars.

There was gray one in the beginner DE group at CMP in September, needless to say he couldn't quite drive the car to full potential (who could?). I spotted a yellow one on the way back from Charlotte one night....the yellow ones call for a good double-take.

i had a similar situation w/ a black enzo locally. some chick was driving it. i shit myself and the person in the car noticed me freaking out, and smiled rediculously back at me. it was sweet.
