Thats why when snow falls bottle caps or steelies are your friend.

I think I have 1 straight bottle cap.

Edit: You should see the mangled mess that lies in my trunk from last winters curb.

    Sold it.

        Damn, dude, that's horrible!

I hit a curb about a week ago, slush whipped my car around. I did the right thing by just giving in and going up the curb - hitting it sideways woulda left me off worse. I hate my bottles on, so my tires (which were my horrible all-seasons then) and my bottlecap is fine. My alignment, however, is now a little off. I'll get that fixed eventually.

Coulda been a lot worse though. My snow tires handle a lot better now. ;)

I hope everything turns out for you, that really sucks dude. :x

Yes, I didn't think about my oil pan until the day after. All my oil is still there, and I don't hjave a front IS spoiler yet - and unlowered. Glad I did it now rather than next winter, when my car will be lower. ;)

Ya If you are going to go up the curb go up it straight at least. I go up one though and I will have black snow underneath my car. So I drive slow as balls.

i went outside to day and shoveled around my car and then jacked up the front on both sides.

I hit the passenger side. and the Tierod on that side is bent so a new one is being ordered today. i also am having my mechanic come and take a look at it before i order it because i might need more.
My front borbet is really messed up, not only is it scratched real bad, it has been bent pretty badly. so now 3 of the 4 or bent. so i have 4 new tires, and now wheels for them. im not sure what i want to do with them yet. i might sell the tires and the rims (idk maybe someone would want the wheels. and buy 15 in wheels around spring time,(borbets are 16in).

my mechanic looked at it, and im gonna bring the car to him when i get the tierod. he says he has to look further to see if the control arm is bent at all. the tierod was $55 from bmw and it will be here on monday.
as for my car rightnow, its sittin in the driveway with 2 borbets int he back and 2 bottles in the front.
ill never drive my car in the snow again!

yeah i F...ing hate snow too, I almost wrecked my car last night.....tryed to beat a light and started to drift into a 180, then my brakes locked up and my car stalled too.... i was sliding backwards towards a traffic light.....thank God it stopped before the light pole. Then i go to start my car and it doesn't want to start.....so I give it a couple more trys and it kicks over. I hate snow....now I drive like a grandma.

                    SOLD: My feature http://www.stanceworks.com/2012/04/a...ss-bmw-e30-m3/

With my snow tires on, I enjoy the snow a lot more. Before, if my rear end went out, it wasn't coming back. Now, I can control a slide with the amount of throttle. 8)

Hope everything turns out for you, sucks about all the bent rims though.,..
