Part number help needed for VIN plate

Does anyone know what the part number is for the friction pins that hold the vin plate to the dashboard? Or another way to affix the plate sans rivet gun?

Nails? Glue? I'm sure some carefully place high temp glue would hold up fine and look good.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I ran across this years ago and kept this in my file of hard parts to find

        51 16 2 121 287

BMW has plenty of stock so you should have no problems getting it.

51481905599 This number is the expanding rivet that you'd find on the black plastic trim piece that runs along the lip of your trunk.

The part number I posted is the rivets that BMW uses for the vin plate, all of those other numbers might work, but 51 16 2 121 287 is the correct one per a memo that I got from the factory when looking to replace mine. And yes I am a parts guy for BMW,
