    Whats up with the ram. Turbo Diesel?

      looks like a dt466. are you just doing a head gasket or an inflame. A customer of mine just had to rebuild two DT's due to his drivers running them with low coolant. Blew the orings on the cylinder liners and let water in the oil. Why is it that the business class internationals (4700, 4900's ) don't have low water warning systems. Every other truck out there has a low water sensor in the expansion tank. Good luck with the build.

        That's my DD for right now it's a v10 not the diesel unfortunately

        In that picture it's an ISM the truck came in with the smell of exhaust in the cab and low power it turned out the exhaust bolts in the head. We couldn't get the bolt out with the head in the truck so we had to pull it. This was exciting for me because of how new I am to the industrie and I'm pulling heads and recently still only 7months experience I'm changing cams out for warn lobes on new 2010 maxxforce dts those old ones your taking about are prehistoric but are really easy to work on as for your question the 4700 and 4900 are an old style and international dosent make them anymore the used to believe simple was better those trucks have almost no computers on them and all the lights sensors are hardwired to a light or power sorce, it's possiable they just forgot it in the main design now the new trucks everything is computer controlled due to hashish emissions, dose that answer your question?
