Shipping a Car- What to look for?

Anyone have any experience with either shipping a car or having one shipped to you?

Im about to buy a car and have it shipped my way. I looked around for some reviews and ended up calling Thomas C. Sunday. They're not a broker and actually have all their cars enclosed. Anything else I should look out for?

    Thanks

There is nothing much to look out for. Inspect the car when its getting dropped off. Pay with a check. I ship about 50 cars a month and use many different brokers and companies.

Had my 323i shipped from Boston, only problems were that the truck driver came a day late. And as a result the car smelled like urine because of the rain during extra day he took! (My polite nature made me tip him $20!)

        Don't use Vlad's shipping company.

This company encloses their cars so no piss smells for me

if you can...spark conversation with the driver....they are usually pretty cool and love cars

my driver had the open trailer, was his own rig....hes been to every providence and the lower 48 states.....

had a blown z06, spoke parts on his vette for 20 minutes....he was even tipped an old jaguar from some millionaire who ships his lambo with him like twice a year.....

Just get the lower price and make sure the inspection is clear as day when they pick it up.....if they want to drive it from the trailer...look at the seat first and make sure they dont mess it up when sitting in it...maybe some grease or a tool or something

the guys are pros at what they do but long hours and trying to save time will make errors
