    How do you psych yourself up for school...

    Starting class next week...Physics and C programming....Only 9 units, but I'm working full time too...

    What makes you keep your focus on school? What keeps you going? - I looking for ideas to use myself.

      I just think of all of the possible career choices I will have. Plus if i don't go to classes it wouldn't be worth spending 10k a year.

        Remember that school is temporary and that it'll be over, and you're usually surrounded by fine ass college chicks !

        man, if i could go back to college...so many sweet naps to be had.

          Ive only had two of those so far. :(

          I dont mind school. You take the classes day by day and there are plenty of hot girls here to fraternize with. Cant wait till the weather gets warmer, I'll get whiplash staring at what girls wear here.

            I just think of how much better things will be when I am done, and that its only for a short period of my life. That helped me through most of my GE's, and now I am in classes I LOVE, so I have no problems focusing on them.

              I would say make sure you are learning about shit you are interested in.

              I started out my undergrad as a Pharmacy major I hated it! Changed my major to finance, loved it and ended up double majoring in Fanance and Management.

              I have been here on Wall st for about 3 years and decided I needed more...so now I am back in school doing my MBA in a top school =)

              My drive is learning about stuff I like. The money you will make, after is good...but you should not study something just for the Bling.

                  Fo shizzle. Once I got into my 300-400 CS classes it was straight A's and it didnt even feel like work.

                  Now that I am into the law portion of my BS I'm having a lot of fun. I would like to finish a business law but I dont think that would be very useful in a technical management. :?

                    Get someone to give you a good, hard kick to the junk. Then you'll have nothing better to do than concentrate on school to distract yourself from the pain.

                      Find the classes you like, and think of it as an investment in your future :)

                            Develop a time schedule you can work around. It's all about time management...and how much effort you put in. You have to really like what you are studying. I like business management and finance. I am graduating college this spring withn a BS and a BA and was accepted to grad school this past nov. for my MBA. I can't wait. I start grad school this May :)
                            Then when I get my job this summer I will buy my new 04' Z4 8) I might have to sell the E30..we'll see tho.

                              Hey Jon;
                              I'm sorry to see that your car was totaled. What happened? Are you alright? Are you going to get another E30?
                              regards;
