Ive got other toys, its not gonna be my only one, even if it was an i itd still be the slowest car i own. I'd almost rather it be an e for the fuel mileage because my other cars are all heavy and have 8 cylinders.

I'm not some teenage punk that just wants an e30, ive worked on my share of bmws, no e30s honestly, but ive got a few frequent bmw customers that i deal with a good bit. If the car is a hooptie i have no problem telling the guy to shove it.
What's that supposed to mean :hitler:??

Just remember, what someone says is a good engine doesn't necessarily mean it's a good engine. When I was looking for my car, all of the m20's were just so powerless. Idek what was wrong with them, but they had no power at all. An eta won't be super fast, but a good m20b27 should feel strong, and you shouldn't have to downshift for anything but a very steep hill, etc.

Ask for more pics. Interior is easy to tell from a pic...for an e30 it's basically ripped or not. Ask for at least pics behind the wheels for rust.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

      Lol^

Just go for it man, Before going i would suggest asking the seller for better, more high res pictures. The last thing you'd want is to go to check out the car and it being something way different.

It meant what it said for the most part, I'm not going to buy the car unless it is worth buying, which after seeing it i can make that judgement.
Ill go ahead and call myself out on the "teenage punk" part of that statement though, that was a poor way to phrase that, and not really what i meant to convey.

Didnt buy it. I went up and looked at it finally. The owners description of "good" interior was the cluster laying in the floor, headliner missing, both door handles broken off, the sunroof jammed open, broken windshield, the driver side had been backed into so the door wouldnt shut all the way.

No windows rolled down, it had the worst tint ive ever saw, rust in all four wheel wells and hardly a passenger side rocker left (that means very little)

and the back bumper literally fell off when i leaned on it

and the trunk popped open about 3 times during the test drive which was about 2 miles, i dont think it latched, i believe it just wedged.

I explained to him what the difference between and e and i was (leaving out what the s meant)

and wouldnt come off the price. I offered him 500 and probably would have regretted it if he took it

I HATE it when people do that. I don't see their point. If it's a shitty car, I'm gonna look at it and not buy it. Why not just be honest in the first place?

And I was just giving you a hard time with the teenage punk thing lol...it's all good :D
