    not really.

Its not fair to compare an e36 m3 to an e30.

The e36 is a smarter buy and it seems to be cheap on the market.

compare a regular 325 is to an e30 325 is.

It gets better gas mileage but its less reliable reportedly. It has worse stock handling.

One biggie for me is the e36 has more durable paint.

But head to head the e30 handles much better and looks better...

e36 is more mass produced and plastic. Theres cool a comparisons I saw in pictures. The e30 has a driver centric cockpit cannot be beat ( same as the e21) all the controls pointed at the driver fuck the passenger. e36 is generic

          the e36 uses urethane paint.

          vs acrylic paint for e30s.

As the 90s go on they also use polyurethane paint which is much more durable.

Theres no breakdown on years I could find. Most cars are urethane paint in the 90s. the e36 might change again in the late 90s.

It would be worth your time to look up what the difference is and how long the different paints normally last, since a little bird told me you have no idea at all.

Ive spent more time working on an e36 than my e30 ive driven it all around, its a 93 325. Do you have an e36?

I did the guibo csb job on an e36 in december and I used to drive it more than I drove mine.

I've owned, daily driven and maintained an e36 for the last 6 years. Ask me a question and I can give you an informed and accurate answer, unlike you.

Stock for stock the e36 will have slightly better handling, unlike your google search provided.

The e36 will also get better gas mileage.

Minus the cooling system on the e36, they can be extremely reliable, but surprisingly you told the truth for once. The e30 can be more reliable.

as far as durable paint, my ix goes through a lot more shit than my e36 and minus rust, dings and a few dents, it holds up nicely. Whereas my e36's paint seems to be thinner and will chip at the sight of a dirt road. Though my e36 is black, which may have something to do with it.

                        This is true. I've owned 3 e30's and 3 e36's. the paint quality on e36's stock is like 1000 times better. No if's and's or but's. All my e30's were 89+ and e36's 96+
I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

I do believe in the late 90s the e36 paint gets another update in quality level but I dont know the year.
All the late model e36 Ive seen are in whats thought of as modern paint. Which lasts a lot longer than the crap thats on e30s. Might actually only be the last year though 99.

Im pretty sure the only people that dont notice the difference in paint between an e30 and an e36 are blind. It takes 1 picture of any color e30 next to any color e36 of any year anywhere.

I had a red e36 parked next to my red e30 for about a month, and I have 3 other cars from the 90s an 00s parked here anyway. It doesnt need to be an e36, it can be any car.

Almost any car from the 90s has way better paint than an e30. my 91 infiniti g20 had urethane paint. 97 sentra did not.
