Back in 02-03 I was on the hunt for an e30. I was looking for a nice 88-91 325is after owning a 325es, but an e30 m3 was what I really wanted considering the car was not a winter car and was onyl to be driven a few months a year.
Back then I paid 7200 for my 325is. NICE, stock e30 M3's were going for 12-15k.
Boy I wish I got a loan and paid the extra for the m3 version :/
M3's Too Much $$$$$

Hm. I knew that but it does appear 92 and 93 are missing from my source for US cars...
Must have been left off by accident or he didn't have the numbers as this OG was around and operated this site before many of us here even knew what an E30 was.

Would I buy an E30 M3? Sure. Am I happy with a "normal" E30? Oh yes, and especially for what I've paid for them.Leave a comment:

EXCEPT..... the brz gets way better gas mileage. :drink:To add to what the people above me said:
If all you care about is the specs then you could get a brand new Subaru BRZ for the same price as a nice E30 M3 which has almost identical specs to the E30 M3.
It really has basically the same specs:
around 2700 lbs
around 200hp from a 4 cylinder
rear wheel drive
manual transmission
near 50/50 weight distributionLeave a comment:

I'd buy one in a heartbeat, if I had the space, and well money!Leave a comment:

I'm a fan of the e30m3 body lines, nothing else, Realism3pro knows this.
I've past up on really good deals on e30m3s just because I can't justify all of the s14 specific expenses.
It's still a cool car to look at.Leave a comment:

If you are complaining about good M3s going for $12k, you need to buy that 318is post haste. It is well known that regardless of what condition the e30 M3 you buy is in, it will easily cost you the difference to correct of what you would have paid to buy a clean one. Right now, that number is about $20k for a 8/10 with a good history, strong motor and under 150k miles.Leave a comment:
