Did all e30's come with a "cigarette" plug?

    Two switches on the dash that control power to everything. One is fuel pump, the other everything else....I think.

      I always wanted to do this, but I would only like it if the stock ignition was deleted. Kinda cheesy if the stock keyed ignition still works.

        There was a storing partition available when the cars were new. Sort of a non-smoking option, but I believe the cig lighter was still in place.

        On my car I removed the front ashtray, and then cut out the back of the ashtray holder assembly with the cig lighter. I made a panel out of ABS and installed two VDO gauges.

        Parker Performance sells a few panels for this same purpose that replace the entire front ashtray holder assembly. They have them available w/& w/o the 12volt receptical (cig lighter).
