    I did a search and didn't see this link on R3V but it seems it must have been posted at some point. Anyway, if you haven't seen it, here's a quick simplified page discussing some of the E30 swap options.

              How about the new N20 Turbo four?
              - 240 HP Stock
              - Turbo
              - All aluminium (light)
              - As the base engine in 3 and 5 series, it will be plenty in a year or two.

              Only if someone can figure the fitment into E30 and the electronics..

                  Neat page. Formatting on it could use some attention though.

                  Would have been cool if they discussed some non-BMW swaps though.

                  I heard someone talking about an SR20 swap in some other thread. I like the SR family (my last car had an SR18DE) but it is probably not something I would consider. Is there a general opinion of SR20 swaps here?
