The Millen family imported them and brought up to US specs. Not positive about Millen connection but they were brought in at 45k for awhile but I dobt the look like that one and it was only 8K.

As far as the Ford thing goes.... Henry Ford was actually given the highest honor ever bestowed to a non German from Hitler around the second world war, Ford Germany was actually quite a good money-maker for Ford via slave labor, etc. Ford literally played both sides during the war.

GM had some dealings too..... read Trading with the Enemy sometime, its interesting which American companies had active trading and manufacturing with the Nazis during the war.

But I shouldn't talk, since I have a BMW, Mercedes, and a Jeep (not an American company since 1998- DaimlerChrysler AG Stuggart, Germany) Just a neat little FYI from history

IBM made the Nazi database on the Jews. Fanta is Coke's answer to having a product in Nazi Germany.

Lots of companys have very shady histories.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

I saw one of those escorts when I was in Italy. I was making fun of the spoiler, calling it ridiculous and stuff. Then I got home and found out that it was a Cosworth and realized that I was the ridiculous one. heh
