Wanted to start off by saying thank you to everyone who bought lanyards during the group buy. I've received a lot of positive feedback from them and sold the last five two days ago. If anyone missed the group buy click http://www.r3vlimited.com/board showthread.php?t=237640 to see that.
This time around I was looking at getting different colors to sell. Since this is a non profit venture I'm going to lay out the expenses here and explain what we can order in. The last batch costs were as follows:
100 Lanyards (50 white, 50 black) with 2 colors are $1.95 each
$80 setup fee
$20 Shipping plus HST
$35 Charge to switch print color (consider another production run, red and white ink for the name)
Taxes in and shipped to my door it ran me $330? or $350? I forget. Shipping per package was $2.48 which left about 50 cents profit. That went towards envelopes and what not. This time around I may charge a dollar extra per lanyard, or do a two for $12, one for $7.
Onto the point of this post. For the next order the minimum quantity is 100. I think we can choose more than two color lanyards but I'm not sure, I'm currently checking on that. For now I'll saw we can pick two colors which you can vote for on the poll. If there is enough interest I'll get the second round of buying going.
