    Staggered 18" Style 5's for my e30

Woke up this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. When I can't sleep I poke around the interwebs looking at BMW's. I came across this one:

Why is this worth mentioning you ask? Because the wheels might probably be 18" style 5's. What I've been after!!!!!! At a decent hour I called I find out they are 18's. I go and see the car and there all good condition with a only a little rash. Without even showing remote interest for the car or even test driving I tell the owner I want the wheels how much for the wheels. We pauses and begins to think for a while. I just know he's going to say "how can I sell the car without the wheels." To my surprise the answer was "four hundreds." Turns out he actually had a spare set so we rushed off back to the city because the all the tires shops were closed near his house and swapped the wheels. Here's the bootay:

There very little rash. Cheap black paint and some thing pealing one of the lips. None of this matters. They will be completely refinished, with all the specifics!

    Can't forget about these:

Before we start the 18's are too big lets recall this car:

    And this car:

    And this car:

A few questions. How much rolling and pulling will it take to get the 18x9's to fit the rear quarters?

Would it be better to just roll a square 18x8 set up?

What offset? You'd have to be pretty tall to clear 18x9's, I would think. Those are going to look great though!

      Go here be happy!

Excellent! My vote goes in for a square 18x8 setup, but I'm just a fan of square fitment in general on smaller cars. I can't wait to see what those look like once they're refinished, I always love seeing a great set of wheels get saved.

You'll have good room if it's et22 in the rear.
                  Choose a tire wisely though.

My plans are as follows. Very dark silver centers nearly gunmetal. Chrome or super polished lips and hex caps. Red/Gold BBS center cap. Gold bolts so nothing you guys haven't seen so far.

Don't know exactly what the time table is could be done in 2 months could be a year. Haven't really thought about how aggressive I want to attack these. Kinda want to just take it easy and enjoy the summer. Give me something to look forward to for next summer.

Considering have a few mm machined off the rears to raise the offset

No haggling, I paid his asking.

Am I crazy for thinking these might possible fit with no fender rolling? Current wheels are 17x8.5 with 20 offset. 18x9 inch rears with 22 offset would extend the wheel 8mm to the inside and 4mm to outside and of course a half an inch in every direction.

                              Here's Where I"m at now:
