As long as you don't have any desire for "sporty" handling, they'll be fine. They do the job but are as soft as baby shit. I got a set for my current daily since I figured anything was better than what was on the car (blown shocks all around).

Since I pretty much just bought the car as a flip, the price was right too. It's actually pretty nice for my commute that involves a bunch of time on shitty Boston roads, just floats over the bumps. Now that I'm thinking I might keep the car for a while though, I wish I had pulled the Bilsteins and H&Rs off my old car before I scrapped it (should have regardless).

Why in the world would you scrap your car with bilsteins and H&Rs on it??

Haha, fair enough.. It's definitely not my favorite idea, to say the least. Just kinda looking for something that will hold me over 'til I have a bit more dough, later in the summer.

Needed it gone asap, long story. Probably could have worked something out to save them, but it would have been more trouble than it was worth at the time.

                  back to the OP's queston....

they are good quality shocks. nothing sporty or fancy, but good quality plain-jane OE replacement shocks for a street car. they are kinda soft, but so were the OE Boge shocks on non-sport e30s
