Royal Blau metallic production numbers?

Royal Blau here. Strange color. Purple in direct full sun. Blue other times. Black when wet or getting dark. To tell you how close it looks to having a purple hue, parts of mine were repainted (bought this way) with a nonmetallic purple. Most people can't tell until I point it out and they are standing next to it.

I have a '91 and my color gets the same share effect, it goes from navy blue to purple. Mine is however called Lazurblau. This in one of my favorite colours for e30.

Edit: I just looked at other members pictures again and it appears Royalblau is slighly darker than Lazurblau...may be it is only the photography....I don't know.

royal blue is pretty dark.
