I don't know what you guys are always crying about the eta. I drove one for a year, been driving a euro m20b25 since. Just got back in the eta game. I love this thing! gobs of low end torque, the 2.73 gives me great gas mileages, and the dual mass flywheel is so easy for daily driving!

I am enjoying every minute of this. shifting at 2.5k feels normal. I love great gas mileage.

and when I want to scoot, it picks up nicely. 2.25" cat back, 325i air box, 325i tb, head shaved .020, chip, plug wires, etc. put down 121hp and ~170 ft lbs tq AT THE WHEELS. i'm happy

also, i have an extra m30 afm laying around. think i should put it on w/some 19 lbs'ers? no adjustable fuel pressure regulator though. I have one, but it's going on my stroker

Id like mine if it had a full exhaust. No muffler is not cutting it anymore.. Cant wait for my 325i to get here next week. Need to find an lsd for it now.

Ive been driving my eta since Ive been driving (10 years now). I LOVE getting into it after driving the ///M3 the whole weekend in some respects. Much smoother to drive and comfy for city driving and I love the torque.

Meh, I shift at 2500rpm and get great gas mileage too. The difference is when I let it go past 2500rpm it wrinkles the pavement. I dont miss the Eta.

i'm all about my eta. it will probably be the nicest car i ever drive, as far as comfort, fuel economy, etc. My es handles very nicely too.

i find with any other motor i tend to wind it out a lot more. but the eta I'm pretty content shifting at 2.5k

eta low end torque = teh b0mbz0rs. I have a b25 now and run it to 6k rpm alllll the time. It sucks for gas that way lol

I like my eta too.. Now that its got some horsepower. But im never over 2500 either, unless i want to be.

lol I kicked it with the side of my foot and my big toe hit my steel toe so it hurt all day. Then I kicked the door with the bottom of my foot and put a big dent in it. I want to do it again sometime.
