    Score!(here tis e30 content)

I just scored a free e30! I only have to pay for a tow and repairs. I should be picking her up on Tuesday. I really know nothing about the car besides the fact that it has a broken window, a bad clutch, but other wise has been taken care of very well.
The owner got the car from his deceased mother, and there for it means a lot to him. His only request was that if I ever want to pass the car on to some one that I call him first.
This should help me get around while I sort out my plentiful 2002 issues.
    Updates on Tuesday.

      I think it's a 325 of some kind lol
I really know very little about it right now besides the fact that's it's as good as mine and runs.
      I'll have pics up Tuesday.

Hopefully, I heard if you take a 325, even with a bad clutch, to the DMV inside a bakery they'll trade you two M3's.

                          Here tis the dirty 30!
                          Its a '84 325e
Its a bit rough but its saveable. It will be our commuter so we can stop putting so many miles on the 135.
Right now its only real problems are a clutch pedal that sticks to the floor, and a broken drivers side quarter window.

                          The bad:
Clutch pedal sticks to the floor
                          Broken quarter window
                          Cracked dash
                          Paints in bad shape
After market alarm system (non op)
                          Ripped seats
                          Broken drivers side brake light
                          Warn out suspension

                          The good:
Runs nicely an starts right up!
                          FREE FREE FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the plan is just to get it running with oil change, fuel/oil/air filter, and so on. I also need to fix the clutch pedal. Anyone know why it may be sticking to the floor? I mean its got no pressure, but what is the most likely resin? Then replace the window, and brake light (pick n pull). Clean the interior up a bit, new stereo system. Next would be a suspension tune up.
In the long run I'd like to drop it on some coils and get some wheels on it. Thats about it, just keep it a nice clean simple DD car.

                              That's a 325e. They didn't make the 325i in '84.

But for free, who the hell cares! Nice score!

Also, without clutch return pressure from the pressure plate, the clutch pedal will go straight to the floor and stay.
Replace the hydraulics and all will be well. More than likely the slave went out, but it's really easy and cheap to replace both of them.
