Engine fitting question?

Crazy thought I had about combining my two favorite car companies (BMW & Chevy), I'm interested to know how difficult it would be to get a something like this:
454 Big Block

In to this?:
E34


Any comments, or am I coping something that has been done before?

I would say yes. If they can fit a V12 in a E30 then you should be able to fit that into an E34

Honestly, I don't think many of us are going to be able to answer your question.

You're going to have to take a measurement of the engine and the engine bay and see it will fit. Then figure out about a million other things to make it run and drive.
Like trans, driveline, brakes, wiring, etc...

Those are pretty sick e30s I just hope it will fit and be able to close the hood? none of those seemed to be able to, also I wasn't thinking dragster style just street car with american muscle. but that thanks for the awesome pics!
