to start, its a red 91 325i, bought in PA, then someone who owned it lived in georgia, and was a bmwcca member(stickers are still on the car). inside the trunklid is a sticker that says "smokin!" just trying to see if anyone knows the original owner. i see some names on recipts, these being Glen Williams and Richard Bartner. I just wanna know some more about my car, and maybe they would like to know how its doing too. lol.

Yeah i tried tracing roots but got nowhere and when i called one of the numbers i got this woman who sounded like she was a bit busy doing other things other then work. lol
Kathleen and Roy Cloud are the original owners of my car and i used to keep in touch with the gal that i bought the car from wich i think i should shoot her an email meh will do one of these days.
Anyway good luck

I never met my car's previous owner, just his dad. He took good care of this E30 and wanted to move on I guess.
I did get to shoot a couple emails to him. He knew his car well, and had some connected at the dealer, so repairs and installs were cheap. Nice.
I'm trying to break into the Chicago BMW community while at the same time creating one in Indy. I'm about to get some business cards for myself, with the address on their too. Kill two birds with one stone.
I might run into a couple guys who remember my PO.....it's be interesting. I also want to maybe autocross up there.

..besides a car running well what else is there to know? Some stuff you're better off not knowing about IMO. Chassis straightness,Tbelt, water pump, oil changes are the 3 main primaries of concern on e30s. That's where I leave it at, I could car less about contacting prev. owners but maybe thats just me.... a 13-20yr old used car is just what the avg. used e30 is. Sometimes you get lucky and find the diamond in the rough or you can get sold some heap-of-trash...been there, done that and learned.

OK, here goes.
In 1987, Bliss was bought at Kirkland BMW in Kirkland, WA
She remained in that area (owner was a pilot in USAF) until 1989 when she moved to Honolulu, HI.
In 1992, she then moved back to Kirkland for another 6 months, and then down to Ogden (outside of SLC) Utah.
In 1994 she returned home to Frankfurt, Germany, and did not return home until 1998, where she re-appeared in Mountain Home, ID.
In 1997 she was sold to her second owner, who lived in Boise. She then came to me in 2001.
:-)
Like that?My mountains are better than yours.
