1993 Cabrio - Convertible compartment lid won't stay latched down all the way. :hitler:

Its powered top that I fold down half manually and half powered.

I know that you can release the gears in the trunk and lock everything down that way with an allen wrench but recently the top started to not latch down tightly.

Is there another way to latch the compartment lid down tightly? Is there something I can tighten to hel it latch tightly?

yes there are to cables that go from the back, around the side and to the forks. where the connect the the back arm the can be tightened(maybe). if your cable is stretched beyond that you can do what my dad did a put a spacer in there.
