bimmerforums has a good for sale section, but its so hard to tell whats junk and who is a shitty seller.

This is true. And they have been helpful when I ask questions about the E34. At least the guy I bought the headlights from put a USPS tracking number in paypal today. The guy I bought the wheels from had 4 feedback ratings and were all 100%. Won't be for long. He still hasn't responded to the Paypal claim.

Only one R3v transaction for me so far and it went smooth as could be. So far so good.
There's assholes everywhere ya go unfortunately. I think it's more related to the vehicle than the forum.
The worst luck I've had was dealing with E36 owners when parting out my M50 donor. The flake rate was ridiculous.

Finally got my money back from Paypal this morning. And it was credited back to my credit card. I had to wait 10 days after I escalated the claim. It's sad that a few people in this world make you wary of just about everyone else.

I havnt had a bad exprience yet. Some dude shipped me a tranny from California , id have to look up his username, but he only wanted $50 for it and was willing to pack it up andsh ip it out. Granted the shipping was 3x the cost of the tranny. But i kinda expected that.

Anyone who might have dealt with buying stuff from me knows i tend to try to help them out...
