He's making reference to the yahoogroups e30 list, an excellent reference, and for the most part idiot-free. A pretty good signal to noise ratio on the list. I've been a member for a number of years.

Good to see you made it, making the total # of Indianapolis members 4! :D Woohoo.

Mike, don't worry, Pete can be an ass sometimes :P j/k

              Hey Robert,

Thanks for the link, couldn't help the shameless plug!
So have you subscribed to the E30 list yet??? ;)

My nephew (who's taller than me, yet half my age...) and I were short on time, hence the abruptness. The white 325e is his new ride, he just turned 16 last month. He's just beginning to understand the mystique of owning an E30.

There are a few Indianapolis members on the E30 list and a handful more that live through out Indiana. I bought the 325 for my nephew from a guy in Lafayette that I met through the list. It's a great group of people and the trouble makers are few and far between.

Yeah, I just joined up. It's good to see Randy Walters on there, he was always a big help on E30sport, which was um....kinda the predecessor to this forum.

I saw you guys were in a rush, but E30 owners at the dealership are rare, so I had to tell you quick about the site. Be sure to let more people know about R3V, especially Indy E30ers.

My car should be out the shop in two weeks. Once that happens, I'll track down some more E30ers and get them on here. 8)

One of the mechanics at Dreyer was in on Saturday working on his red E30 and was very glad to hear about R3V. He mentioned his other car was a black E30 he wanted to put a S52 in. :D

Glad you joined! I don't frequent D&R much since they stopped giving CCA discounts.

So you had your E30 in the shop at the dealer? I guess that's why I didn't notice one in the parking lot when we left. You ought to take it to Vaughan Motor Werks in Noblesville. He tracks E30 M3's and what not.

I haven't driven my E30 for about a month now, she's a garage queen... I'd like to pickup an iX for the winter months, too bad we rarely see snow here anymore.

I frequent D&R a lot, every saturday since last April. ;) I'm one of the carwash boys who drives the cars to the detail shop for the free wash.

Hecks no. I did check with Rick, but he was too pricey for my blood. One of my uncle's friends has his own little BMW shop and he'll be doing the work. (Have you seen Simon Hunter's M3.....it's a nice piece of work by Rick)

I haven't driven my E30 in like 3+ months. When the rocker arm broke, I didn't know what I wanted to do. I thought I could do a M50 swap......but I judged by money better spent on simply repairing it. (My uncle, who actually has the funds, is seriously thinking about the M50 swap on his eta. :) )

Once my car is fixed, I'll put in the JC Chip I ordered, and save up for the Rites of Spring, at Putnam. And the full season of Autocross.

It's real stupid Dreyer lost the CCA discount. I actually just asked about that last Sat. Seemingly every other place has it. But I'm spent about a total of $40 there.....half of that on a T-shirt, and the rest on cheap shit I didn't care to order offline. No discount for me as an employee either...... :(

I should definately be driving my 325is my next meeting, so it will hopefully be at Bennigans.

Ah ha! Lot Jockey are yea? I used to do that back in the day at Tom Wood Jag. Jeff Krause was a salesmen there back then. He had an M3 and I was driving my first 325is.

Hecks no. I did check with Rick, but he was too pricey for my blood. One of my uncle's friends has his own little BMW shop and he'll be doing the work. (Have you seen Simon Hunter's M3.....it's a nice piece of work by Rick)
Yea Rick's not cheap, but you get what you pay for! Where's your uncle's friends shop?

Heh another uncle / nephew E30 obsession!

Real stupid! They have lost literally thousands of dollars in parts, from me alone, since they stopped the discount! Tell Bob that!

I'll mention it to Paul Brown's son, he works with me. Maybe the GM will make a change.....or most likely not. Or I could have the balls to say it to his face.....but then again Paul doesn't care much about the lowly washers.

One of my friends, who I helped get a co-worker job, has a 1991 325i auto, but you can't get hyped much about an auto. :(

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, your nephew need a job? We need help, and I can pretty much get anyone hired for Sat. 10-2. Just let me know. ;)

I whined and complained when I first found out, but they didn't care. I've never bought a car there so I don't have much clout either...

Yea he needs a job, but he lives in Lafayette... :( But thanks for offering.
