Did Canada have different air bag regulations? Anything 1990 and up has an airbag here in the states. That's the only real red flag I see from the pictures

Only 318is came with shadow line, 318i four doors had standard chrome trim. That is an E36 318i badge on the back though, And I wonder where the windshield sprayers went, the front fenders, bumper and valance have been replaced too it seems.

I would offer a grand and see if he bites. Even if he doesn't right now, leave your number so he can call you later if it doesn't sell

For 2500.00 the seller is pulling your leg. Read his ad carefully, I think he will take 1000.00 and be happy.
Key words: anything, ASAP, also ad has no no pictures.

This indicates 2500.00 him just trying to test your waters.

...Just tell him you have $$ and coming to pick it up, once there offer him 800.00 and pay 1000 or so...ensure you have cash in your hand when negotiating. If you need help negotiating the deal, I can help you for a small fee. PM me.

I think this is the ad:
Car has 300,000 on the body. And 60,000 on the rebuild. Has tan leather interior with no marks on it at all, needs some work tho but a good car. It is fast and great on fuel and everyone loves a rear wheel drive,. I'm open to trades on anything, cars quads dirt bikes computes anything let me know I can't upload pics for some reason so email and ill send them ASAP

            318i

I dont think I did to bad on price, not going to post it as I am afraid I will get the old, you paid too much. so I have heard I don,t need to be worried about hitting the loud pedal on these cars. Are these engines typical of BMW and bulletproof? i have the m10 in my old car and you can't kill it, is the m42 the same? Other then fluids is there anything else I should do to the car before i start driving it, i like to do as much as possible even if it is redundant as to what the previous owner has done, that way I have everything set back to zero and can do the maintenance at the proper intervals. If anybody has any M42 specific threads in their bookmarks please send them my way, doesnt matter if it is in regards to a rebuild, performance or just the engine in general, I want to learn everything I can about it. cheers guys!
