    Woodworking - E30 style

So... I've had these grey comforts sitting around waiting for the right project that needs seats. They were taking up space in my game room / storage area so I figured I'd put them to good use. Some leftover 2x10 scraps got me to spend the hour needed to make the most comfortable seats in the place
I'm happy with the results so am posting here to get flamed and return to my normal gloomy self. ;)

If anyone wishes to copy, the thing to know is that your platform height should be 10 to 11 inches.

Smart move posting such small pictures, it looks like some coked up beavers gnawed those boards to size.

Add seatbelts to the walls in your house and make the latches functional.

        BAM.

          Number 3 reason I want a welder.

Thanks for the abuse, just what I needed. :)

Leaving the seats intact as this is just a place to hold them until I find a proper motorized place to put them. Should probably tuck in the seat belt warning wire tho...

Good eye LJ, but you have no idea how hard it is to keep coked-up beavers FOCUSED!

Yeah, I wish I had a welder too.

Yes, add seat belts, that way when you are playing a racing game and start to lean in order to "help" the car turn, you wont fall over.

I've got a love seat made from a coupe rear seat. It's actually pretty comfortable. AND I get to make pervy jokes when appropriate. I'll post a pic when I get home
