I am looking at a possible job doing garage door repairs and installations. I would never have to carry the doors themselves, just smaller parts and a tool set. Is anybody out there using there car as a work vehicle? I found a rolled e30 and Im considering chopping up the roof and building a truck bed. I have a e30 sedan on the side for my regular commuting.

you would probably be better off (more cost effective and reliable) getting an old cheap toyota or nissan truck instead of making an e30 into one -
That sounds awesome. e30amino/chero!

The woman has used her E30 as a house call groomer for quite a while now and once or twice a monrh gets a new client because of it.
Food for thought.Comment

I really don't think a rolled car is a good candidate considering a non-rolled car can be found cheaply.
I may or may not have an E30 truck myself. It's very capable, I have loaded well over 1200lbs in to it.Comment

I agree with you but considering its $500 and the portion of the roof and trunk that are smashed will be removed anyways, it might be worth trying. Worst case scenario if it fails, the parts alone will cover the cost. (but im not thinking about that yet)Comment
