M50 trash what should I get?

Removed the head awhile back to rebuild it and did not check out the rear cylinder. Gouged and LARGE rounding about 1/4 into the bore. So I am not going to waste the money boring out. Someone really hurt this engine in its life span.

So what do you guys think I should swap in? The poll has what I have been thinking over. I am sticking to BMW platforms, and Rob is not an engine ;)

I found two s52 and one m52 local, the s52 I am looking into is 2,500 full dressed/tranny 84k. One owner, deer rolled onto the hood and into the windshield/over the roof. If the new owner gets a good quote on fixing the damage he is keeping it. I have enough for this one, it depends on the new owner/body man.

2nd s52, 209k 850.00 full dressed/tranny owned by an older man 2nd owner. BMW serviced from day one.

    m52 is 1k dressed/tranny.

I really want to just go s52 and stay NA as this is my daily/weekend track car. Not sure if I want boost for an everyday car.

all three are still in the cars and run/able to test drive.

Turbo frankin motor! Get a new m50 block and m54 assembly. You'll end up with a 3L stroker turbo.

I sold my daily e30 and I need a engine asap I don't want to source parts/get stuff machined. And the m50 block I have is good, just needs to be bored out to remove the damage.

Believe me I did think about this, I have a ETA I can snag for a 150 to run till I finish the stroker. But I just want to swap in a nice hp# engine and be done for a few years.

S52 is the best bet for power, gas mileage, and reliability. If you drive it daily, do this.
